Day Thirty-Nine in Lockdown #3.0

06:36 Ian annoys Lindsay in her dream. So she is just gonna stay angry with him all day.

09:34 Lindsay’s trying to read the moving news headlines.

“How on earth will Stalin cut the risk of COVID Ian?”

“Statins!! Not Stalin.”

09:53 Frankie goes running when Lindsay has a coughing fit. He couldn’t cope with self-isolating with these lot for ten days.

10:03 Lindsay snaps at Ian.

“What have I done now?”

“You know.”

He doesn’t. She’s still angry with dream Ian.

10:23 Lindsay still doesn’t feel well.

“I might have Covid. I’m breathless when I climb the stairs!”

“In which case you’ve had it for twenty years.”

12:34 Lindsay is playing around with her Facebook avatar, trying to make it realistic. No amount of changes show her saggy jowls and permanent look of defeat.

14:49 Abigail’s talking about only liking biology out of the sciences.

“There’s the nucleus and the cell wall…”

“Oh I did that with my class.”

“What’s the others?”

“Err… I’ve forgotten. Just like them.”

15:54 Ian is talking to Lindsay’s dad on the phone.

“Do you want to speak to Lindsay now?”

“Do I sound that desperate?”

16:32 Ian and Lindsay are discussing room changes.

“We should do our room Linz. It’s never been done since we moved in.”

“Yes it has. There used to be a blue carpet. But it was covered in poo, wee and sick.”

“Yeah. Sorry about that.”

17:38 The Stevensons attempt a harmonious family meal yet again.

“Enjoy eating your murdered cow everyone.”

17:39 “Is the lasagne OK Schmoopaloo?”

“Stop calling me that!”

17:42 “Sam! Stop flicking food at your dad!”

17:43 “Abigail. What’s wrong with your face?”

“Nothing. Every time you see me now, you say you want to switch me off!”

17:44 “When are you planning on moving out Sam?”

17:45 “Will somebody switch her off?”

17:48 “I’m not tidying up. I cooked.”

“Is that what you call it?”

17:51 “Well then, must do this again soon. Don’t call me. I’ll call you.”
